Bordering Cities

Seattle - Seattle, WA is a city about 15 minutes south of Shoreline, known for its ultra urban and vibrant culture. From dinner at the iconic Space Needle to touring with the Ride the Ducks by land and water, Seattle has several tourist destinations. Seattle has been listed as one of the healthiest cities in the nation, due to the countless trails, effective bike routes, and other recreational activities it offers.
Lake Forest Park - When people think of LFP, they think of trees. Named a Tree City USA community for its 4th year, LFP has truly lived up to its reputation. Less than 4% of LFP is zoned commercial, and those areas are clustered in one spot. Its popularity is facilitated by the fact that the school district is Shoreline. There are many lakefront properties that boast gorgeous views of Lake Washington.
Woodway - Woodway is a small town located north of the Richmond Beach neighborhood in Shoreline, on the north of the King/Snohomish County line border. It is a small, tranquil residential community, maintained from its historical beginnings. Its town logo is “The Quiet Place”, and the town definitely lives up to it.
Mountlake Terrace - Mountlake Terrace is a tight-knit community with great mountain views, quiet residential neighborhoods, parks, trails, and a lake. Because it is located conveniently between Lynnwood and Seattle, where most people work, it’s a great place to be situated.
Edmonds - Edmonds is one of Washington’s most art-conscious and picturesque communities. With its adorable waterfront downtown area filled with character, Edmonds offers a laid back, relaxing quality of life for residents and is a great destination for visitors. The ferry that travels to Kingston leaves Downtown Edmonds. Edmonds hosts year-round art festivals which are enjoyed by residents and visitors of all ages.
Lynnwood - Lynnwood is a bigger city and has several commercial/business districts. Home to popular Alderwood Mall, residents in Edmonds, Shoreline, LFP, and other surrounding areas often visit Lynnwood. It’s considered to be a mixture of urban, suburban, smaller city, and crossroads. Many people who work in Seattle reside in Lynnwood because of the convenience of having shopping close by and the more affordable housing prices.
